Rate limits

Each key can make 300 requests per minute. That is far above what one till or kiosk needs.

Over the limit you get 429 with a Retry-After header in seconds. Wait that long and continue.

Syncing a big menu? Use POST /v1/menu/items/bulk (up to 500 dishes per call) instead of one call per dish.
Polling for orders? Every 10 to 15 seconds is enough. Better, subscribe to the order.created webhook and poll only as a fallback.
Replaying a day of checks after an outage? Send them one after another, not all at once.
